A downloadable game for Windows

Description:

A short puzzle game where you play as a computer virus overriding the world inside the computer as you please.

You can only hold one Control at a time. Thus you are constantly out of Control. But you are not the only thing who can hold them.  And you are not the only thing those controls can affect

Controls:

WASD/Arrow keys: For gameplay input.

Left mouse button: Hold to aim ray. Release to transfer "Control" at a valid target(ray color will change while aiming at a valid target).

Hold R: to reset level when you're stuck (and you will be).

Backspace: Rewind.

Note: Reset and arrow keys do not work in the current build. You can always rewind to the start of the level instead of restarting. Both will be fixed in the next build.

Tips:

Don't be afraid to try out something even if you think it isn't going to work. You might be surprised. And if it doesn't, the reset key is there for a reason.

And stick around till the end. That's where things get interesting (and occasionally funny too).

Note:

1. The core gameplay has gone though major QOL improvements. Please play the free demo of the final game if you simply want to try out the game

2. This version is mainly for preservation purposes.

Very nice! I really enjoyed playing this. The mechanic was unusual, fun, and challenging but not horribly difficult.

Thank you! Feel free to check out the full version too. It has a lot more mechanics with QOL improvements. I also had a lot of fun creating the story!

Unfortunately I can't; I don't use Windows.

Sorry to hear that. I can't test mac builds since I don't have the hardware but I can make and upload a build if you want to try it out.

Clever game!

Thank you! I plan on adding a lot more levels on the final game. You can wishlist on Steam to know when that comes out. I also plan on releasing another demo soon.

There will also be a version on itch of course.

If you jump while on a pink platform and while in the air shoot it and start moving it then you clip through it. Great game though

Thanks for finding a bug. I'll look into it before the next update(which is going to be a big one).

Edit: fixed. Though I've decided to leave the post jam version alone due to changes in mechanics.

This made for a really fun puzzle game! Great job!
